Armenian Traditional Attire Captivates Audiences at Beijing International Studies University Festival

On October 24, 2025, the vibrant colors and intricate designs of Armenian cultural heritage became a highlight of the Cultural Festival at Beijing International Studies University. Armenian students Elise Stepanyan and Gohar Hambardzumyan presented an impressive showcase that drew attention from the multinational community.
The centerpiece of their presentation featured authentic reproductions of traditional Armenian costumes, provided by ChinArmArt. Elise Stepanyan wore a detailed replica of Vaspurakan regional attire, while Gohar Hambardzumyan presented the distinctive Karin traditional costume, together demonstrating the remarkable diversity of Armenian national dress across different historical regions.
Beyond the fashion display, the students created a comprehensive cultural experience through photographic displays of Armenia’s iconic landmarks and scenic attractions, complemented by traditional Armenian food tastings.
