Celebrating Unity: Armenian Culture Takes Center Stage at the International Festival in Wuhan, China
The 17th WHU Luojia Autumn International Cultural Festival, conducted on November 23-24 at Wuhan University, a prestigious institution in China, prominently featured a celebration of Armenian cultural heritage. Attendees were afforded the opportunity to experience an array of traditional Armenian dishes, including dolma, pasuts tolma, zhingyalov hats, baklava, gata, and sweet sujuk. These culinary delights were expertly prepared by Anahit Vardanyan, alongside authentic Armenian BBQ provided by Sis Aghayants.
The festival also included a chess corner overseen by international chess master candidate Sargis Stamboltsyan, who offered engaging games for participants. The event further showcased traditional Armenian garments from the Vaspurakan and Artsakh regions, curated by ChinArmArt. These garments were exhibited alongside handcrafted decorative items, which exemplified the rich cultural artistry inherent to Armenia.
Special acknowledgment is due to Lyudmila Avdalyan, Karine Avdalyan, Ani Asryan, Hasmik Lazyan, and Nona Shiroyan for their invaluable contributions to this event. This celebration not only illuminated Armenian traditions but also reinforced the enduring friendship between Armenia and China.
