Armenian national costume and traditional cuisine presented in Yiwu
At an international cultural event in Yiwu city on April 30th, Jasmina Grigoryan, an Armenian student, presented Armenian traditional cuisine and national costume. Her attire was an exquisite gown inspired by motifs and shapes of the Armenian traditional dress of the Yerevan region from the end of the 19th century, featuring distinctive floral ornaments and headgear. Attendees exhibited a significant level of curiosity regarding Armenian culture and traditional dishes, and many took photos with Jasmina.
It is noteworthy that Yiwu, located in Zhejiang Province, China, is the world’s largest wholesale market for small commodity goods. The city’s logistics and infrastructure play a crucial role in facilitating importation from Yiwu for businesses worldwide.
