This year, the Armenian booth was a standout attraction, captivating visitors with its arts, crafts, and culinary delights. The booth displayed intricately crafted textiles and captivating photographic materials showcasing Armenia’s famed landmarks and scenic wonders, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the soul of Armenia. The Armenian booth’s culinary offerings featured “Ghapama,” a traditional Armenian dish bursting with flavors and aromas, and the beloved Armenian pie known as “Gata,” which tempted visitors with its sweet and savory allure.
The Armenian students representing their cultural heritage at the booth extended a warm welcome to visitors, donning national costumes and eagerly sharing the stories and symbolism behind each intricate detail of their garments and accessories. The palpable passion they exhibited for their cultural heritage drew visitors into lively conversations, forging connections across cultures. Marine Aleksanyan, Syuzanna Muradyan, Tatevik Asatryan, Lilit Hovhannisyan, Vahe Vardanyan, Boris Gharibyan, Georgi Poghosyan, Lion Gidov, Edmon Khachatryan, Mark Sargsyan, David Mazmanyan, Vardan Vardanyan, Karen Alexanyan, and Artyom Balayan, the Armenian students, performed the traditional dance called “Shalakho” with graceful movements and rhythmic footwork, making the event unforgettable for all the visitors.
